Sense and Sensibility – Part 3
Again a bittersweet moment! I love getting to the endings because everything gets all wrapped up and happy. However, it also means no more to watch! That sucks bad!
You can always watch all three parts of Sense and Sensibility HERE and you can go watch Pride and Prejudice HERE. You can never watch them too much, I promise. So without further delay here is part three:
If you missed Part 1 go HERE, and Part 2 is HERE. For a full list of all parts go HERE.
If you were curious about how many adaptations there are here is a little bit for you:
The book has been adapted for film and television a number of times, including a 1981 serial for TV directed by Rodney Bennett; a 1995 movie adapted by Emma Thompson and directed by Ang Lee; a version in Tamil called Kandukondain Kandukondain, released in 2000, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan; and a 2008 TV series on BBC adapted by Andrew Davies and directed by John Alexander. Sense & Sensibility, The Musical (book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow and music by Neal Hampton) received its world premier by the Denver Center Theatre Company in April 2013 staged by Tony-nominated director Marcia Milgrom Dodge. Most recently (in 2013), author Joanne Trollope published her own version of the story, bringing the characters into the present day and providing some enjoyable modern satire.
Once again thanks Wikipedia!!
Don’t forget to pass these onto friends and family, it’s always nice to share. If you share then you will have someone to gush to about this mini-series (we all know a husband doesn’t count).
